A business event: “Meet the Buyer” on 26th October 2pm to 4.30pm promises to help put small business in touch with BIG company buyers. Buyers from top local companies Bedford College, Charles Wells, Lockheed Martin, Autoglass, Bedford Hospital, Bourns and Casella will talk about what they are looking for in a supplier.  The buyers will indicate types of business relevant to their fields of work and would-be suppliers will be offered “speed meetings” of ten minutes each.

This will be held in the prestigious South Bank Arts Centre on the riverside of the Bedford College campus. Vehicle entrance and parking via Cauldwell Street. To make the best of this opportunity, business people are invited to a business breakfast at Skyline Restaurant, Bedford College on 8th October where Marketing Consultant David Winch will explain his techniques for successful sales and marketing and posing the question “why should I buy from you?”.

Bedford College hosts and, together with Bedford Borough Council,  sponsors the Pam Woods Conquest Business Breakfast Club, a regular feature of business life in Bedford.  Held monthly, the Breakfast Club gives business people the opportunity for valuable networking and meeting with fellow entrepreneurs.
