BALFOUR BEATTY – MEET THE BUYER EVENT

Wednesday the 23rd of November 2011, Blaenau Ffestiniog Rugby Club, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Gwynedd, LL41 3SL

Balfour Beatty Regional Civil Engineering has recently been appointed to carry out a public realm regeneration project in Blaenau Ffestiniog commencing in December 2011 through to August 2012.
The works will involve installation of very high quality natural stone paving, reconstruction of the highway, landscaping and lighting.

Balfour Beatty wishes to raise awareness of potential opportunities which they are looking to sub-contract within the project. To this end a Meet the Buyer event is being jointly organised by the Welsh Assembly Government’s Supplier Development Service and Constructionskills who will also be present on the day.

The following sub-contracting opportunities have been identified: -

High quality natural stone laying -
Traffic and pedestrian finger post signs -
Street lighting installation and electrical works -
Soft landscaping, tree and shrub planting including aftercare maintenance

Please note that businesses holding CSCS cards, insurances, and with relevant experience will be given preference to attend this event.

In order to declare your interest, you should complete and return the Supplier Information form which can be obtained by contacting derwenna.bridle@menterabusnes.co.uk by Tuesday the 15th of November 2011 at the latest.
You will then be informed if your business meets Balfour Beatty’s minimum quality expectations. If so, you will be directly invited to the event, and given a 20 minute appointment.
Only those businesses who have completed and returned the Supplier Information form and been given a direct invitation to the event, should attend.
