Designed to help local businesses meet potential public sector customers, the “Meet the Buyer” event takes place on 11th May at the Brit Oval, Vauxhall from 9am to 4pm and is the latest event in the Supply Lambeth programme.
The event is the perfect opportunity for local firms to find out more about what it takes to win public sector contracts. Key buyers attending include the council, Balfour Beatty, Connaught Partnership and Harrisons Catering and the event is free to attend.
Buyers who attended last year were able to network, make contacts and secure future contracts. Naveed Kahn is the director of Streatham-based business Mediworld, which supplies surgical and dental equipment. He attended a Meet the Buyer event in 2009 which led to a big contract. He said: “The Supply Lambeth event was very successful for us. As a result we won a £25,000 contract, which is great for our business.”
This is a great chance to develop and expand your business through private face-to-face meetings with major buyers who have substantial annual purchasing budgets.
